Most garments and accessories have specific care instructions printed right on their label, but a good general rule is to wash cycling apparel at 30 degrees celsius or lower and keep it out of the dryer. Close zippers, turn garments inside out, and close velcro straps to avoid snags.

Synthetic fabrics often leave a larger carbon footprint than natural fibers. At SALA we do our best to work with partners sourcing and producing responsibly. We also have a repair program to keep cycling clothes on the road longer and an upcycling bin at the shop for when they’ve taken their last ride. Ask at the shop to learn more!
