The SmarTUBE is Pirelli's latest product. For decades, we have been using our know-how in the development of high-performance tire systems. A bicycle tube that can keep up with the performance of our high-end tires is the logical consequence. It is the result of our cooperation with the top athletes from the UCI World Tour. Our goal was to translate the requirements of the athletes into an everyday product. We succeeded in this with the SmarTUBE. The SmartTUBE is made of a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and is up to 70% lighter than a conventional butyl hose. In addition, it is up to 50% more space-saving. In addition, the SmarTUBE is extremely durable and resilient.
The SmarTUBE is available in different sizes for the areas of application: Road, Gravel and MTB.
The combination of our P-ZERO clincher with the P-ZERO SmarTUBE convinces with rolling behavior, suppleness and speed.
The SmarTUBES reduce the rotating mass of the wheels. This makes the bike more agile and can be accelerated better, even on the mountain. In addition, they improve the handling of the bike.
The SmarTUBES are very light and compact. Therefore, they are ideal as a replacement hose for longer trips. They save space and weight, which means more space, e.g. B. for food and equipment remains.
The Cinturato models are extra reinforced. The TPU material has been optimized so that they have the following advantages over a standard bytl hose: They are lighter, more compact and about twice as robust. The SmarTUBES come in Pirelli yellow race look with black valves.
