Group Rides around Nuremberg

SALA Outdoor Rides

For those starting out as cyclists or joining a SALA ride for a first time, it can be hard to know which level to choose.

The categories below offer different options based on past experience and desired pace, described in detail and categorized by spice level (🌶️).

Take a look, see which type of ride seems like the best fit, and check our Instagram and Strava accounts to find the next available date.

We meet up a few minutes before each ride to grab coffee and snacks for the road and to go over hand signals and what to expect on the route.

If you have any further questions, get in touch: hola@salacollective.com.

See you on the bike!

Gran Fondo and "Road to..." Training Series

Every year we hold a variety of Gran Fondos, or rides of 100 kms or more. For some of these milestone rides we will organize a series of weekly rides leading up to the big day in increasing distances. For example the "Road to 100k" might consist of a 50k ride, a 75k, and the big 100, divided into three consecutive weekends.

These training series will offer support on how to prepare for longer cycling distances, including tips on nutrition, equipment, how to change a tire, and more.
These training series can be planned for any of the ride levels listed above.

Find us on Instagram and Strava for the latest details and on  Koomot to see some of our favorite routes.

In addition to our own rides, we always invite other cycling groups of all levels to start and/or finish their rides at SALA. Get in touch and we can support with everything from planning to promotion.
